There is an endless debate around 'context' in our discipline. Predominantly 'context' is examined from the ethical point of view, as a matter of respect. This stereotypical approach, which went through many waves during the 20th century, triggered a reactionary attitude towards the idea of contextualism. A fear of falling in this category was developed. Nevertheless, dealing with a certain place is sometimes what intensifies the cultural significance of architecture and relates the architects with the banal reality that surrounds their projects. The featured aerial photomontages explore another attitude towards 'context'. The proposed buildings adapt certain attributes from their surroundings, attempting to suppress judgment and propagating an indifference towards novelty.
